The shelter has suffered from a few very difficult years in terms of funding and staff levels are kept to a bare minimum to save money, meaning that existing staff are often overworked to breaking point. The shelter needs to increase its income to enable it to make desperately needed improvements to its buildings and infrastructure and would love to have enough cash to employ one more part time member of staff.
If you would like to make a donation on or find out more about the shelter and the animals available for re-homing, log onto its website: www.animal-welfare.org.uk or call 01749 860350.
